【摘要】:1.1Productscovered:1.1.1ThisstandardappliestomotorcontrolcenterstobeusedinaccordancewiththeU.S.NationalElectricalCode,ANSI/NFPA70,theCanadianElectricalCode,Part1,CSAC22.1,andtheMexicanElectricalInstallations(Utility),NOM-001-SEDE.1.1.2Theserequirementscovermotorcontrolcentersforuseoncircuitshavingavailableshort-circuitcurrentsnotmorethan200000Armssymmetricalor200000Adc.1.1.3Thisstandardappliestosingle-andthree-phase50and60Hzanddcmotorcontrolcentersratednotmorethan600Vacor1000Vdc.1.1.4RequirementsforfirepumpcontrollersareasprovidedinAnnexc,item11.1.2Productsnotcovered:Theserequirementsdonotcoverswitchboardsorpanelboardsintendedforthecontrolofelectriclightandpowercircuits,nordotheycoveranindividualunitforthispurpose.Suchunits,however,thatconsistofmanuallyorautomaticallyoperatedswitches,branch-circuitorservice-circuitcircuit-breakers,overcurrent-protectivedevices,orthelikemaybeusedwithinamotorcontrolcenter.1.3Equipment:1.3.1Amotorcontrolcentercancontain,butisnotlimitedto,anycombinationofequipmentsuchasthefollowing:a)full-voltagereversingornon-reversingcombinationmotorcontrolunits;b)full-voltagemultispeedcombinationmotorcontrolunits;c)reduced-voltagepart-winding,wye-deltaorauto-transformercombinationmotorcontrolunits;d)solid-stateindustrialcontrollers,suchasadjustable-speeddrives,programmablecontrollers,protectiverelays,andthelike;e)lightingordistributionpanelboards;f)feeder-tapunits;g)incoming-lineequipment,suchasmainlugs,fusibleswitch,isolationswitch,orcircuit-breaker;h)controlorlightingtransformers;i)specialequipmentassemblies;j)combinationcontactorunits.1.3.2Theforegoingequipmentcancontain,butisnotlimitedto,suchitemsaspushbuttons,selectorswitches,indicatinglights,controltransformers,controlcircuitfuses,andauxiliarydevicesincorporatedasanintegralpartoftheunits.1.4UnitsofmeasurementThefirstvaluesgivenareSI(metric)units.AlternatemeasurementsshowninparenthesesareUScustomaryunits,whichsometimesarenotstrictconversions.Thisneweditionincludesthefollowingrevisions:1.InclusionofapplicableconstructionandperformancerequirementsforcombinationmotorcontrollersfromUL508,StandardforIndustrialControlEquipment.2.RemovalofenclosureconstructionrequirementsandspraytestfromUL845andinclusionofreferencetoUL50,StandardforEnclosuresforElectricalEquipmentforenclosurerequirements.3.InclusionofselectedrequirementsandinformativeAnnexHapplicationinformationfromNEMAICS18-2001,MotorControlCenters.4.UseofmetricunitsasprimaryrequirementwithEnglishunitsinparenthesis.5.Inclusionofrequirementsforfeederandmainunits.6.Revisiontoscopetopermitdcratedmotorcontrolcentersupto100Vdc.7.InclusionofnewandrevisedrequirementswhichincreasethelevelofperformanceoraddnewmarkingrequirementscomparedtothecurrentUL845standard.8.NewrequirementsthatprovidealternateconstructionsoroptionsnotpreviouslyincludedinUL845.
