【摘要】:1.1ThispartofEN1071describesamethodofmeasuringhardnessandYoung’smodulusofceramiccoatingsbymeansofInstrumentedIndentationTesting(IIT)usinginstrumentscapableofmeasuringforceanddisplacementasafunctionoftimeduringtheindentationprocess.Thisclassofinstrumentsincludesinstrumentspreviouslyknownas“DepthSensingIndenters,DSI”and“MechanicalMicroprobes.”1.2Themethodislimitedtotheexaminationofsinglelayerswhentheindentationiscarriedoutnormaltothetestpiecesurface,butgradedandmultilayercoatingscanalsobemeasuredincross-sectionifthethicknessoftheindividuallayersorgradationsisgreaterthanthespatialresolutionoftheindentationprocess.Thelatterisdependentuponinstrumentdesignandisdeterminedbythedisplacementsensitivityandtheprecisionoflocationoftheindents.

【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationdefinescriteriaforboron-basedneutronabsorbingmaterialsystemsusedinracksinapoolenvironmentforstorageofnuclearlightwaterreactor(LWR)spent-fuelassembliesordisassembledcomponentstomaintainsub-criticalityinthestorageracksystem.1.2Boron-basedneutronabsorbingmaterialsystemsnormallyconsistofmetallicboronorachemicalcompoundcontainingboron(forexample,boroncarbide,B4C)supportedbyamatrixofaluminum,steel,orothermaterials.1.3Inaboron-basedabsorber,neutronabsorptionoccursprimarilybytheboron-10isotopethatispresentinnaturalborontotheextentof18.30.2%byweight(dependinguponthegeologicaloriginoftheboron).Boron,enrichedinboron-10couldalsobeused.1.4Thematerialssystemsdescribedhereinshallbefunctional-thatisalwaysbecapabletomaintainaB10arealdensitysuchthatsubcriticalityKeff0.95orKeff0.98orKeff1.0dependingonthedesignspecificationfortheservicelife(approximately40years)intheoperatingenvironmentofanuclearspentfuelpool.1.5Anumberofacceptableboron-basedabsorbingmaterialscombinationsarecurrentlyavailablewhileothersarebeingdevelopedforuseinthefuture.Thisspecificationdefinescriteriaessentialandapplicabletoallmaterialscombinationsandidentifiesparametersabuyershouldspecifytosatisfyauniqueorparticularrequirement.1.6Thescopeofthisspecificationdoesnotcomprehensivelycoverallprovisionsforpreventingcriticalityaccidentsorrequirementsforhealthandsafety.Observanceofthisspecificationdoesnotrelievetheuseroftheobligationtoconformtoallapplicableinternational,national,andlocalregulations.
